August 2016 - May 2017
We’ve got a lot planned for next year to encourage and support you in your homeschool journey. New members or those new to homeschooling are encouraged to attend our monthly IRHSA Newcomer's Meeting at 6 pm for information and Q&A about homeschooling. These meetings happen each month directly before our monthly meetings. The monthly meetings for IRHSA members will be at Treasure Coast Assembly at 7 pm.
IRHSA Community Fair (Various information booths from community programs offered to Homeschoolers)
“Information Overload” (Our IRHSA year in a nutshell – calendar of events, field trips, activities, new-comers info,
mentoring program, graduation, sign-ups, coordinators, education tips, etc.)
Night Of Encouragement (A Panel of Veteran Home Schoolers Give Encouragement and Advice)
“Homeschool Shake Down” (A hands-on, station-rotating version of speed dating for all things in Homeschool administration:
portfolios, assessments, lesson plans, grading, online resources, evaluators, etc.)
Small Group Sessions (Choose which group discussion to attend dealing with various topics:
Elementary, Middle/High, Special Needs, Newbies, etc. Come prepared to ask all the questions you want!)
Special Speaker Split (Choose which speaker to hear either “Elementary Education Helps” or “College/Testing/Duel Enrollment.”)
“Finishing Strong” (Celebrate your year with a night of comedy, encouragement, and fun.)
Used Curriculum Fair & IRHSA Annual Meeting (Sell your old curriculum or browse for a great deal on something you need)
We hope you will be a part of these meetings to not only receive, but also to give back to others with your own ideas and encouragement. Everyone has something they can bring to our community.
